Dhanush's 50th movie titled ‘Raayan’ (X)
Dhanush’s second directorial project D50 has been titled Raayan.
The makers released the first-look poster of the film on Monday, 19 February.
Sun Pictures, which is bankrolling the Tamil movie, shared the poster and the title of the film on social media.
The post by Sun Pictures’ official X handle read: “#D50 is #Raayan. Written & Directed by @dhanushkraja. Music by @arrahman. Releasing in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi (sic).”
AR Rahman is composing the music for the flick.
Raayan is slated for release in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu.
In the poster, Dhanush can be seen standing in front of a food truck. He sports a close-cropped hairstyle and a moustache. He looks stylish in a red shirt and an apron.
Raayan also stars SJ Suryah, Dushara Vijayan, Kalidas Jayaram, Aparna Balamurali, and Sundeep Kishan in significant roles.
The shooting started in July 2023 and ended in December.
Meanwhile, Dhanush announced his third directorial project Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam.
His previous film Captain Miller (2024), released for Pongal, was a box-office success. The movie is doing good on Amazon Prime Video.
