Vidaa Muyarchi enters final leg of shoot

Actor Ajith’s upcoming film Vidaa Muyarchi is gearing up for release. The film directed by Magizh Thirumeni is set for Pongal release.

Recently the makers shared a few clicks of the lead pair Ajith and Trisha, from the location of the final schedule of shooting.

In the photos shared, Ajith is seen in a clean-shaven look, and Trisha in a silver saree. The makers wrote: “Ajith Kumar and Trisha dazzle together at the Vidaamuyarchi shooting spot.”

Trisha too shared the photos with the caption, “Coming soon.”

Vidaa Muyarchi is expected to be an action thriller. It is written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Lyca Productions. It also stars Arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra in major roles.

The film’s shooting commenced in October 2023. It was initially supposed to be helmed by Vignesh Shivan. But he was later replaced by Magizh Thirumeni.

Vidaa Muyarchi boasts an impressive technical crew, including cinematographer Nirav Shah, editor NB Srikanth, music composer Anirudh Ravichander, and stunt master Supreme Sundar. Netflix bagged its digital streaming rights.

Ajith and Trisha are collaborating for the fifth time after Ji (2005), Kireedam (2007), Mankatha (2011), and Yennai Arindhaal (2015).

Apart from this the duo are also working together in Good Bad Ugly directed by Adhik Ravichandran. While his Magizh Thirumeni is yet to get a release date, Good Bad Ugly is planned for a Pongal release in 2025.

The big-budget movie will have music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The cinematography is handled by Abhinandan Ramanujam.

The actor was last seen in Thunivu (2022), directed by H Vinoth. It received mixed reviews.
