Ajith and Trisha starrer Vidaa Muyarchi has wrapped up shooting on Sunday, 22 December. The film is expected to be an action thriller.
The film is set for Pongal release. It is written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Lyca Productions. Arjun Sarja and Regina Cassandra will play major roles.
The director shared a heartfelt note of appreciation for Ajith. In the “Final day of shoot” note, the director wrote: “Sir, infinite love and gratitude to you. You have guided, inspired & motivated all of us simply by being yourself.”
“Vidaamuyarchi has indeed been a triumph of perseverance and the entire team owes it to you, sir. On a personal note, I thank you sir for the love, care and support you have given me from day one to this day. Much love and respect!”

Recently the film team shared a few clicks of the lead pair Ajith and Trisha, from the location of the final shooting schedule.
The film’s shooting commenced in October 2023. It was initially supposed to be helmed by Vignesh Shivan. But he was later replaced by Magizh Thirumeni.
Vidaa Muyarchi boasts an impressive technical crew, including cinematographer Nirav Shah, editor NB Srikanth, music composer Anirudh Ravichander, and stunt master Supreme Sundar. Netflix bagged its digital streaming rights.
Ajith and Trisha are collaborating for the fifth time after Ji (2005), Kireedam (2007), Mankatha (2011), and Yennai Arindhaal (2015).
Apart from this the duo are also working together in Good Bad Ugly directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The big-budget movie will have music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The cinematography is handled by Abhinandan Ramanujam.
The actor was last seen in Thunivu (2022), directed by H Vinoth. It received mixed reviews.
