Dhanush’s action entertainer had a successful run in theatres.
The movie, which was released along with Siva Karthikeyan’s Ayalaan (2024) during the Pongal festival on 12 January, is still running in theatres. The movie also had a successful run in Kerala.
Directed by Arun Matheswaran, the movie also had Kannada actor-director Shiva Rajkumar in a major role.
The movie will soon make its OTT premiere on 9 February via Amazon Prime.
The film, which is being produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, was originally supposed to be released on 15 December 2023.
The movie is set in the pre-Independence era. The technical crew of the film includes music composer GV Prakash and cinematographer Siddharth Nuni.
Produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan and presented by TG Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films, the film features Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead.
Captain Miller is Arun’s third film after Rocky (2021) and Saani Kaayidham (2022). He will be joining hands again with Dhanush for another film.
