The Tamil Nadu state government has given away the State Film Awards for the years 2009 to 2014, at a function organised at Kalaivanar Arangam in Chennai on Sunday, 4 September. Though the awards were announced in 2017, the award ceremony was held on Sunday.
Among the winners are Vijay Sethuypati, Jiiva, Nayanathara, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Vikram, Sivakarthikeyan and Amala Paul. A jury led by former judge A Raman selected the winners. Check the winners’ list here:
