Actor Kalidas Jayaram, the son of Malayalam actor Jayaram, got engaged to model Tarini Kalingarayar on Friday, 10 November.
The videos of the engagement ceremony went viral on social media. The Poomaram (2018) actor and his fiance Tarini looked stunning in the engagement pics.
Actors Jayaram and Parvathy, Kalidas’s parents and his sister Malavika were also seen in the engagement video.
Director Sudha Kongara, and actresses Aparna Balamurali, Bhavani Sre, and Megha Akash were some of the celebrities who were spotted at the Kalidas Jayaram-Tarini Kalingarayar engagement.
Kalidas and Tarini have been dating for some time now. The actor introduced Tarini to his family in Onam last year. The actor later introduced her as his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day this year.
In an award ceremony in Chennai, Kalidas revealed his plans to marry Tarini.
Tarini is a well-known model and was the third runner-up for the Miss Universe India 2021.
Kalidas made his debut in films as a child artist with the Sathyan Anthikad movie Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal in 2000.
In Malayalam, he debuted as a lead actor in the Abrid Shine directorial Poomaram in 2018. Since then, he worked in several South Indian movies.
He became popular with his role in Vikram (2022). He will be next seen in Dhanush’s directorial venture titled D 50.
