The movie will be rereleased in multiple languages in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka states.
The print of Muthu has been retouched and mastered with 4K technology, improving the way movies are watched.
The movies that are being rereleased these days have more advanced audio formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS-X, giving a feeling of watching realistic and unparalleled detailing.

A remake of the Malayalam film Thenmavin Kombath (1994), Muthu revolves around a zamindar and his worker falling in love with the same woman who, unknown to the zamindar, loves the worker exclusively.
It went on to become a musical hit with Rahman’s soulful music and still continues to impress the listeners and fans of Thalaiva.
Released on 23 October 1995, Muthu not only became a super hit but also rocked the box office collections in almost all languages it was released.
