At a time when top heroes in Telugu cinema sign back-to-back films, irrespective of flops, budding actor “Sudigali” Sudheer has made an interesting decision when it comes to accepting films.
He said that he would sign films on the merits of his last film.
During the trailer launch event of his film Calling Sahasra, Sudheer clarified the gossip that he would only pick commercial entertainers.
“I have decided to sign a movie once the previous movie does well at the box office. It is quite upsetting to hear distributors losing their money if a film doesn’t fare well,” he said.
Speaking of his upcoming suspense drama, the actor said, “I heard this story many years ago before Software Sudheer (2019) was actually released. We started both Gaalodu (2022) and this film simultaneously.”
He added, “Gaalodu gave me a mass image. Now, I have ventured into the genre of suspense thriller. I want to impress the Telugu audience with the story. I would frequently appear on television too.”
“The arrival of music composer Mark K Robin and cinematographer Gary has raised expectations on Calling Sahasra. I request everyone to watch the movie. If one tries something new, the Telugu audience will always be there to support,” he said.
Directed by Arun Vikkirala, the movie is set for a grand release on 1 December.
With Dollysha as the female lead, the film is backed by Vijesh Tayal, Chiranjeevi Pamidi, and Venkateswarlu Katuri under the Shadow Media Productions and Radha Arts banner.
