SouthScope: Priyamani and Aravind Swamy join #NC22 team

Priyamani, Sampath Raj and Aravind Swamy have been roped in to play pivotal roles in #NC22.

Srinivasaa Chitturi of Srinivasaa Silver Screen, who is bankrolling the flick, announced that well-known Telugu comedian Vennela Kishore and Venkat Prabhu’s comedian-brother Premgi Amaren have also been brought on board.

#NC22 is said to showcase stunts choreographed by Yannick Ben who is known for his phenomenal work in Hollywood films like Transporter 3, Dunkirk, Inception and City Hunter.

Popular television actress Premi Viswanath is also part of this yet-to-be-titled movie, which will go on the floors soon.

Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja and his younger son Yuvan Shankar Raja are composing music for the film together. SR Kathir is the cinematographer and Venkat Raajen is the editor. Pavan Kumar is presenting this ambitious project.

Post-production begins for Mega154

The fever of Godfather has finally come to an end. Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently busy completing the shoot of his upcoming film, tentatively titled Mega 154.

Directed by Bobby (KS Ravindra), the movie has Shruti Haasan as the female lady and Ravi Teja is playing a powerful and lengthy role. After 20 long years, Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja have joined hands together.

The Mega154 team is canning an action sequence in Hyderabad and the dubbing works have also begun.

The film’s release is planned for Sankranthi 2023 and works are progressing as per schedule. Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad, who is scoring music, informs the film’s title teaser will be out for Diwali.

Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar are producing the film, while GK Mohan is the co-producer.

A top-notch technical team is associated with the project, while several notable actors are part of it.

Arthur A Wilson is the cinematographer, Niranjan Devaramane is the editor and AS Prakash is the production designer.

Priya Bhavani Shankar signs a Telugu film

Actor Satyadev is on cloud nine after winning appreciation from his fans and audiences for his amazing performance in Chiranjeevi’s Godfather.

His upcoming film is tentatively titled Satyadev 26 and has Kannada actor Dhanajaya in a key role. Dhanajaya was introduced to the Telugu audiences with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa in which he played a negative role.

Satyadev 26 is directed by Eashvar Karthic. Bala Sundaram and Dinesh Sundaram are producing it under Old Town Pictures. The movie is billed to be a criminal action entertainer.

It marks Priya Bhavani Shankar’s maiden Telugu venture, though she appeared in numerous Tamil movies, including the recent blockbuster flick Thiru.

Going by the objects on the poster, the sewing measuring tape and the cutter, Priya will be seen as a fashion designer.

The regular shoot of Satyadev 26 is underway.
