Popular choreographer Master Brindha Gopal, who made her directorial debut this year with Dulquer Salman’s Hey Sinamika, is busy with her second directorial. Titled Thugs, the film has Bobby Simha in the lead role.
The makers teamed up with Sony Music for marketing its music and promo content in all languages: Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada.
Riya Shibu is producing this raw and rustic action thriller under the banner of HR Pictures. The production house recently distributed films like RRR, Vikram, Don and Vendu Thanindathu Kaadu.
Also, it is producing the upcoming Hindi action thriller Mumbaikar starring Vikrant Massey and Vijay Sethupathi. Santosh Sivan is the director.

Hridhu Haroon is debuting as one of the leads in Thugs. His intense performance in the recently released Amazon show Crash Course was highly rated by critics and viewers.
Haroon has a host of films in the pipeline, with top makers from North and South, including Mumbaikar.
Thugs also features RK Suresh, Munish Kanth, Sarath Appany and Anaswara Rajan in key roles.
The character-introduction video, released about a month ago, raised curiosity among critics and audiences alike. SAM CS composed the intense BGM and music.
Editor Praveen Antony, who is popular for his recent promo edit of RRR, made a brilliant cut in editing this raw action film. Priyesh Guruswamy is the cinematographer.
Thugs is gearing up for theatrical release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada Languages in December 2022.
