Sonu Sood inaugurated a government school building in Hyderabad

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood inaugurated a government school building at Siddhanthi village near Shamshabad in Hyderabad on Tuesday, 20 February.

Philanthropist Kandakatla Siddu Reddy funded the project.

MP Ranjith Reddy and MLA Prakash Goud attended the event.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Sonu Sood interacted with the students and distributed school bags and books.

Emphasising the importance of education, the actor, who also appeared in several Telugu movies, cited a few instances where education brought about a change in society.

While reflecting upon his achievements in the Telugu film industry, Sonu Sood recalled his deep connection with the Telugu community in Hyderabad.

Siddu Reddy recalled Sonu Sood’s exemplary service to the common people during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The philanthropist expressed his commitment to addressing the various needs of the students. Also, he promised to expand educational infrastructure and support the underprivileged communities across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states.
