The shooting of Antony Varghese's new film is in full swing

Malayalam actor Antony Varghese will next be seen in a movie directed by debutant Ajith Mampully. The film is bankrolled by Weekend Blockbusters, which produced the superhit movie RDX in 2023.

Weekend Blockbusters announced some of their upcoming films last year itself. It includes projects directed by Anwar Rasheed and RDX-fame Nahas Hidhayat.

Antony Varghese’s upcoming flick is the seventh venture of the production house and the shooting is in full swing at different locations.

A revenge drama

According to the makers, the untitled Malayalam movie is a revenge drama set against the backdrop of a coastal area and is a big-budget film.

Antony Varghese plays the lead in it. The project is expected to be important in the career of the young actor, who is basking in the success of RDX.

The major portions of the film are shot in the sea in 70 days.

The art department recently created a 20-foot shark model for the shooting. Earlier, a 100-foot boat was built in Kureepuzha in Kollam.

The team

The yet-to-be-titled movie has action scenes choreographed by Vikram More, who earlier worked on KGF: Chapter 1 (2019) and Kantara (2022).

Shabeer Kallarackal and Kannada actor Raj B Shetty are playing key roles in it.

Newcomer Prathiba is roped in as the female lead. Goutami Nair has a significant role.

The cinematography is by Deepak D Menon and the music is by Sam CS.

The makers are expecting to release the movie for Onam.
