Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar is currently in Miami, USA, recovering after a successful surgery. The actor had recently travelled to the USA for his treatment. According to the doctors and family, Shiva Rajkumar through surgery on Wednesday, 25 December, had his cancerous bladder removed, and an artificial bladder was made using his intestine.
In a video message released, Dr Murugesh Manoharan, who performed the surgery explained, “Shivana’s surgery went very well. He had the cancerous bladder removed completely with the complete clearance of the disease. Following the surgery, he had an artificial bladder recreated using his own intestine. Shivanna is a strong person mentally and physically. He was very stable throughout the surgical procedure and did very well following the surgery”
Further stating that the actor is now stable, he added, “All his laboratory work and tests are very good. Also, he is a strong and positive person, and I expect him to recover very quickly and get back to his normalcy within a few weeks.”
In the same video, Geeta Rajkumar, speaking about Shiva Rajkumar’s health said, “Everything has gone as planned. He is now resting in the ICU, and the doctors have reassured me that his condition is stable. We are deeply thankful for the overwhelming support, prayers, and love from fans and well-wishers. Once Shivanna recovers fully, he will personally express his gratitude to each one of you.”
A press release further read, “He is currently under observation to ensure his continued recovery and well-being, receiving exceptional care from a dedicated team of highly skilled doctors and medical staff. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr Shiva Rajkumar’s fans, colleagues, well-wishers, and the media for their steadfast support, prayers, and kind messages during this time. Your encouragement has been a source of strength for Dr Shiva Rajkumar and his family. Further updates regarding his recovery will be shared in due course”

Shiva Rajkumar in November, spoke of his health issues and said that he is currently taking treatment for the same in the USA.
He also mentioned that he will undergo surgery, most likely in the US, after two more sessions and have a month-long recovery period. However, Shiva Rajkumar reassured his fans that there is nothing to worry about and that he will fulfil his work commitments.
