Telugu actor Sharanya Pradeep rose to fame after playing Sai Pallavi’s elder sister in director Sekhar Kammula’s sensational hit Fidaa (2017).
Since then, she has bagged numerous roles in various films, often portraying supporting characters like sister and friend of female leads.

In the recent movie Ambajipeta Marriage Band (2024), Sharanya Pradeep delivered a standout performance as Padma, the twin sister of the protagonist Mallikarjun (Suhas).
Her character was the highlight of the film. It overshadowed even the lead actor Suhas.
The entire plot revolves around her character. She drove the story forward with her brilliant performance.
Sharanya Pradeep’s performance, particularly in scenes where she thrashes the villain in the police station, received amazing applause from the audience.

The actor faced distress when YouTube channels used inappropriate thumbnails to gain views, particularly regarding the scene in the movie.
In an interview, Sharanya Pradeep expressed her disappointment with the YouTubers by explaining how she accepted the character in the film because of her husband’s support.
She said there was nothing vulgar about the scene. Despite no offensive or explicit sequences in the film, a few YouTube channels started peddling news with objectionable thumbnails in Telugu.
When asked about her co-star Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, who is entangled in a legal case, Sharanya said she was unaware of the case.
