Ram Charan's 'Game Changer' has shades of 'Oke Okkadu'? (X)
Confusion prevails over the release date of actor Ram Charan’s Game Changer, directed by Shankar.
It is speculated that the Telugu movie might be released in September this year, but fans have been urging the makers for an official clarification.
Both Shankar and Ram Charan have not hinted about the film.
It is believed that Ram Charan will play the role of Ram Nandan in Game Changer.
Social media comments suggest that the movie will focus solely on the actor’s character. Meanwhile, a few netizens predict that Game Changer will have shades of Shankar’s iconic movie Oke Okkadu, which was released in 1999.
Ram Charan is rumoured to play dual roles in the film, portraying both father and son.
Reports also suggest that Shankar has designed scenes that will stand out in the movie. These scenes are expected to be the highlight of Game Changer.
Despite a slight delay, fans remain optimistic about the flick.
Meka Srikanth and Sunil play crucial roles, while actor SJ Suryah plays the antagonist in the film. He is expected to steal the show.
Game Changer is made with a whopping budget of around ₹300 crore.
Dil Raju and Zee Studios are jointly producing this film.
Meanwhile, the buzz from the industry circles suggests that the overseas rights have already been sold ₹Rs 27 crore. There are chances of the non-theatrical rights of the movie getting sold for a huge amount.
If Game Changer turns out to be a box-office hit, Shankar might get busy in the Tollywood industry.
