Radikaa to produce chiranjeevi telugu

Radikaa Sarathkumar’s home banner Radaan Mediaworks is foraying into Tollywood. Mega Star Chiranjeevi is all set to play the hero in the project, a source told South First.

The source also revealed that Radikaa came up with the story idea. Chiranjeevi liked it and readily gave his nod to team up with the actor-producer.

It is learnt that Lakshmi Bhupala, who wrote the dialogues for Godfather, is working on the screenplay and dialogues of the project, as per Chiranjeevi’s recommendation.

Radikaa made her Telugu debut opposite Chiranjeevi in 1981 with Nyayam Kavali. As it turned out to be a blockbuster hit, she was flooded with offers.

Her off-screen relationship with Chiranjeevi became a topic for rumour mills. However, she always made it clear that they were both good friends.

Radikaa slapping Chiranjeevi for a scene in her first film is a famous anecdote that she revealed in an interview.

She reportedly took 24 retakes and Chiranjeevi had a red face after the shot was okayed.

Radikaa’s production with Chiranjeevi will begin after the latter wraps up the shoot of Bhola Shankar, the source revealed.

Radaan Mediaworks created the web series Irai, with Sarathkumar, for Aha Tamil.

A big name in TV soaps across all South languages, the company’s last film was Jaggubhai, directed by KS Ravikumar.

Radikaa’s actor-producer husband Sarathkumar was the hero in it.

Sunny Leone, Aishwarya Rajesh in year-end race

On the last Friday of this year, 30 December, Kollywood will see Sunny Leone and Aishwarya Rajesh battle it out with Trisha’s Raangi.

In a last-minute addition, the makers of Sunny Leone’s film OMG (Oh My Ghost) announced its release date.

While Aishwarya Rajesh’s The Great Indian Kitchen is hitting the screens on 29 December, her Jamuna Driver will release on 30 December.

Sunny Leone’s OMG marks her Tamil debut and is said to be a horror film with a comic touch. It has Yogi Babu in a pivotal role.

It casts Satish and Darsha Gupta in important roles. Madurai Muthu, who is famous after his Bigg Boss Tamil stint, is also part of the cast.

Sindhanai Sei-fame R Yuvan is the writer and director. Though promoted heavily, OMG is reportedly being distributed by the producers themselves as it had no takers.

Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rajesh’s Jamuna Driver was supposed to be released much earlier but was postponed several times. It is to be seen if the makers will release it as promised i.e., on 30 December.

The thriller is directed by Kinslin, who made his debut with Vathikuchi (2013). It stars Aadukalam Naren, Kavitha Bharathy, and stand-up comedian Abhishek Kumar.

Ghibran is the music director and Gokul Benoy is the cinematographer.

The Great Indian Kitchen is the Tamil remake of the famous Malayalam film of the same name. Aishwarya Rajesh will be essaying the role of Nimisha Vijayan in the movie.

Directed by R Kannan, the film has Rahul Ravindran and Jackie Shroff in the key roles.

Arun Vijay in Bala’s Vanangaan?

Rumour mills are agog that Arun Vijay will be part of Bala’s upcoming film Vanangaan.

After Suriya and his production company exited the project, Atharvaa was to play the role. But now, Arun Vijay is being considered for the character.

The actor is currently shooting for AL Vijay’s Acham Enbathu Illaye with Amy Jackson and Nimisha Vijayan as leading ladies.

He has Borrder, a spy thriller, awaiting release. Arivazhagan Venkatachalam is the director. Regina Cassandra is the female lead.
