After 25 long years, musical sensation AR Rahman and dancing god Prabhu Deva have teamed up for an interesting project — tentatively titled ARRD.D

The shooting of ARRPD6 commenced on Thursday, 2 May.

Rahman took to X to share the news about ARRPD6 shooting. He also posted a couple of pictures of him with Prabhu Deva.

In one of the pictures, the duo is seen standing against the background of “Laugh, Sing and Dance Along!” In the other, the background reads: “25 years of Pan-India Swag.”

ARRPD6 is directed by Manoj NS.

ARRPD6 also stars Tamil actor Yogi Babu and Malayalam actors Aju Varghese and Arjun Ashokan in major roles. Motta Rajendran and Redin Kingsley are also part of the cast.

It is produced by Manoj NS, Divya Manoj, and Dr Praveen Elak.

Behindwoods is presenting it.

The music is composed by AR Rahman. The cinematography is by Anup V Shylaya.

When the project was announced on 22 March, Rahman released a poster with Prabhu Deva striking the “Muqabla” pose.

ARRPD6 is drawing huge expectations since it is the sixth film of Rahman and Prabhu Deva.

Rahman’s tunes and Prabhu Deva’s dance moves were a crazy combination in the 1990s.
