Prabhas' 2.33 minutes of dialogues in Salaar have become meme material

Salaar made its digital debut on Netflix, quenching the thirst of those who couldn’t taste it in theatres.

While the Prabhas-starrer still maintains a successful run in select theatres across Telangana and other regions, Salaar made its OTT premier as it already crossed the impressive ₹600-crore mark at the global box office.

Initially criticised for minimal dialogues for Prabhas, Salaar has now garnered attention for its unique approach, tone, and treatment.

With the film streaming on Netflix, fans started a social-media discussion on Prabhas’ dialogues.

A fan-made video revealed that the actor had approximately 4 minutes of dialogues with a few pauses and 2:33 minutes without gaps.

Despite the limited dialogues, Prabhas’ lines in Salaar have started grabbing the eyeballs of OTT audiences. It’s not just limited to that, there have been trolls who started making memes on the internet mocking Prabhas’ voice.

The numerous memes seemed as if Prabhas would be targeted for a lifetime despite his 2.33 minutes of dialogues on the screen.

At first, the plan was to take time before kickstarting the second part of Salaar. However, the team headed by director Prashanth Neel and Hombale Films changed their minds and decided to start making it without much delay.

Salaar is still winning over audiences, after it started streaming on Netflix on 20 January.
