Poonam Kaur’s cryptic tweet on Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ poster triggers Twitter war

South Indian actress Poonam Kaur is back with one more controversy. This time, a cryptic tweet by her resulted in a heated debate between her supporters and the fans of Power Star Pawan Kalyan.

Mythri Movie Makers on Wednesday, 10 May, announced that the first glimpse of Pawan Kalyan’s much-awaited film, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, would be released on their social media platforms on 11 May at 4.59 pm.

While the overjoyed fans of the Power Star started celebrating in anticipation of the first look, actress Poonam Kaur took a dig at it by indirectly hinting at the movie poster.

Her tweet read: “When u cannot respect revolutionaries at least don’t insult them — a recent poster release for a movie — insults the name #bhagatsingh by placing it below foot — ego or ignorance?”

However, when she retweeted another tweet that strongly objected to the movie poster of Ustad Bhagat Singh for the inappropriate placing of the title near the feet, it was clear which movie she was referring to.

It soon led to fans on both sides taking digs at each other.

‘Attention-seeking act by Poonam Kaur’

A majority of Pawan Kalyan fans termed it as a mere “attention-seeking act”. Poonam Kaur’s supporters called it a brave act and noted that the actor (Pawan Kalyan) was not a God to not be questioned.

Further, a few Pawan Kalyan fans mocked the actress, wondering if she could talk about the great revolutionary Bhagat Singh for even five minutes.

Some opined that Poonam Kaur was reading too much into the design of a movie poster and unnecessarily projecting it as an “insult to the revolutionary”.

However, when the makers released another poster of Ustaad Bhagat Singh with the title on top, a few fans wondered how the actress would react now.
