Tollywood wishes Pawan Kalyan over his victory in Pithapuram

Pawan Kalyan, the celebrated Tollywood actor and founder of the Jana Sena Party, secured a victory in Pithapuram against his Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party opponent Vanga Geetha with a significant majority of 70,354 votes.

As predicted by exit polls, Pawan’s impressive performance in the elections brought immense joy to his fans and supporters.

Fellow actors from the Telugu film industry, including Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun, Nani, Gopichand Malineni, Kartikeya, Ram Gopal Varma, Sai Dharam Tej, Adivi Sesh, and Nithiin, have expressed their heartfelt wishes to the actor-politician over his victory in Pithapuram.

This marks Pawan Kalyan’s second foray into politics, a decade after his initial entry. He founded the Jana Sena Party in 2014.

At that time, Pawan Kalyan declared his willingness to collaborate with any party except Congress, emphasising his commitment to bringing stability to both Telangana and Seemandhra.

Amidst enthusiastic cheers from his fans, the renowned actor pledged to pursue principled politics to effect positive societal change.

Pawan stated that he draws inspiration from freedom fighter Bhagat Singh and is prepared to sacrifice his life to eliminate injustice, inequality, and corruption.

He accused the Congress leadership of threatening national integrity and asserted that his party would transcend religion, region, and caste.

Pawan Kalyan, known for his “young angry man” image in films, declared that the Jana Sena Party would strive for a system where the law applies equally to everyone. He also promised to prioritise women’s safety and affordable healthcare.

Popularly known as the “Power Star” among his supporters, Pawan campaigned in the 2009 elections for the Praja Rajyam Party, which Chiranjeevi had launched shortly before the polls.

Leading the Praja Rajyam Party’s youth wing, Pawan fell out with Chiranjeevi when he merged the party with Congress in 2010.
