Ori Devuda makers announce a contest for memers

The top 100 meme creators — 50 from the poster memes category and another 50 from the video memes category — will be invited to a party with the Ori Devuda team on Tuesday, 18 October.

Vishwak Sen is known for having a following among memers and on social media platforms. The Ori Devuda team appears to have decided to cash in on it.

The movie is a remake of the Tamil hit Oh My Kadavule. Ashwath Marimuthu, who has written and directed the original, is helming it in Telugu as well.

“Director Ashwath Marimuthu has come up with a heart-touching story. Ori Devuda is much more than a romantic comedy. It will impress people of all ages and everyone will relate to it. With Diwali around the corner, we are confident that Ori Devuda will have a repeat audience,” said Vishwak Sen at the pre-release function.

The film’s trailer hinted that it would be a funky and hilarious entertainer, just like Vishwak Sen’s previous movies.

Senior actor Venkatesh also shares the screen with Vishwak Sen, while Mithila Palkar is the female lead.

Rahul Ramakrishna, Murali Sharma, Nagineedu, and others are playing supporting roles. The romantic comedy is jointly produced by PVP Cinema and Dil Raju.
