Animal is streaming on Netflix

Ranbir Kapoor’s movie Animal is now streaming on the OTT giant Netflix.

The Bollywood film was directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. It received a great response in theatres and was declared a hit. It earned over ₹900 crore at the box office in the long run.

However, some fans seem to have been disappointed with its OTT version.

There were rumours about extra scenes being added to the OTT version of Animal, including a rumoured kiss scene with Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol, thus making it longer by 30 minutes.

But it turns out not to be true. The Netflix version is the same as the one screened in theatres.

Netflix decided not to include any extra or uncensored scenes to avoid legal issues.

So, if you’ve seen it in the theatre, the OTT version won’t have anything new.

Though Animal received majorly negative reviews following its release, it was later praised by audiences for its impressive background music, memorable songs, and technical finesse.

However, there were opinions expressed that it stumbled in terms of story strength and screenplay execution.
