Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty started on a dull note last weekend when it faced Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. The collections were comparatively low.
However, as the days passed by, the movie turned out to be a favourite for Telugu film lovers. It already collected $1 million at the USA box office.
Naveen Polishetty is lucky for multiple reasons. Firstly, no Telugu film was released competing with it; thus giving an upper hand for the film to continue its theatrical run.
Secondly, the publicity campaign has been shouldered by Naveen himself. He toured major cities in the Telugu States and later, flew to America to woo his fans in the USA.
That might have fetched him in a big way though there was not much media coverage initially about the film. Well, Anushka Shetty didn’t give interviews to the media.
So far, Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty collected revenue of $872,932 against Jawan’s $5,562,851. After getting positive reviews from fans and critics, Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty saw a slight growth at the domestic box office.
The film is estimated to have earned ₹3.25 crore net in India on 10 September. This takes the four-day total collection to ₹11.03 crore at the domestic box office.

Meanwhile, Megastar Chiranjeevi gave a pat on Naveen’s back after watching the film. That might probably give some boost.

And now, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, too, commented that she thoroughly enjoyed watching Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty. She shared an appreciation note on her Instagram story.
Directed by debutante P Mahesh Babu, the film features actress Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty in lead roles.
It also boasts of an ensemble cast, including yesteryear actress Jayasudha, Nasser, Murali Sharma, Thulsai, Sonia Deepti, and Abhinav Gomatam in key roles.
Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty was released on 7 September. However, the movie witnessed relatively fewer collections as Shah Rukh’s Jawan wreaked havoc at the box office.
