Meera Jasmine’s next, Paalum Pazhavum, is gearing up for release on 23 August. Senior director VK Prakash is wielding the megaphone for the project.
On Thursday, 18 July, Meera Jasmine shared the release date poster of Paalum Pazhavum on her Instagram handle, saying, “Get ready to laugh your hearts out! Our upcoming comedy entertainer #PaalumPazhavum is coming soon to a theatre near you! Stay tuned for a rollercoaster ride of humour and entertainment.”
The poster featured Meera’s character getting married at a register office.
The makers announced the release date of the film at the audio launch event held on 17 July. Malayalam actor-filmmaker Aswin Jose plays a major role in the flick. Addressing the gathering at the audio launch, Aswin Jose said it was a dream come true moment for him to be part of Paalum Pazhavum.
He turned a writer for Anuragam (2023) which, however, failed to do well at the box office.
Paalum Pazhavum stars Shanthi Krishna, Ashokan, Maniyanpillai Raju, Nisha Sarangh, Rachana Narayanankutty, Mithun Ramesh, Sumesh Chandran, Adil Ibrahim, Shinu Shyamalan, Thushara, Vineeth Ramachandran, and Atul Ram Kumar as supporting cast.
It was scripted by Ashish Rajani Unnikrishnan. Rahul Deep is the cinematographer and Praveen Prabhakar is the editor. Sachin Balu, Joel Jones, and Justin Uday composed the music, while Gopi Sundar composed the background score.

Meera Jasmine has had a successful career graph in Malayalam with hits like Achuvinte Amma (2005), Rasathanthram (2006), and Vinodhayathra (2007), to mention a few.
She took a short break from films and made a comeback with Sathyan Anthikad’s Makal in 2022. She was last seen in M Padmakumar’s Queen Elizabeth (2023), which had Narain as the male lead and was a flop.
The actor will next be seen in the Tamil film Test, headlined by Nayanthara, R Madhavan, and Siddharth.
