Director Ajay Bhupathi, whose Mangalavaaram is the latest box office release in Telugu, is miffed with a YouTube reviewer. The director lambasted the YouTube reviewer for allegedly disclosing all the “twists” in the movie.

As his video went viral, it only caused more damage than Ajay Bhupathi had expected. By doing so, he added more fuel to the YouTuber in question.

Mangalavaaram, starring Payal Rajput in the lead, opened to mixed reviews from both critics and audiences upon its worldwide release on 17 November.

“I urged reviewers not to divulge any spoilers. About 99 percent of them didn’t reveal any twists but one person, who calls himself a senior critic on YouTube, disclosed everything. How stupid he is! He wrote all the scripts on paper and read them out before the camera. Does he have any sense?” Bhupathi wondered in a video that went viral on social media on Sunday, 19 November.

Whether or not the reviewer has some sense, apparently, the director seems to have lost his cool as he vented his frustration. And unknowingly, Ajay Bhupathi ended up giving unnecessary attention to the YouTuber.

Following this, several YouTubers shared Ajay Bhupathi’s video and tagged the reviewer.

Meanwhile, netizens opined that the director could have avoided giving attention to the “film critic”.

Mangalavaaram is a psychological horror thriller starring Payal Rajput, Divya Pillai, Nandita Shwetha, Chaitanya Krishna, Azmal, Ravindra Vijay, Krishna Chaitanya, and Ajay Ghosh in key roles.
