Marking his birthday on Thursday, 23 November, actor Vishnu Manchu treated his fans to the first-look poster of his most ambitious Telugu film Kannappa.

The look apparently recalls glimpses of the Prabhas-starrer Adipurush (2023) in which Lord Sri Rama posed with his bow and arrow, symbolically representing Rama’s strength.

But here, the protagonist Kannappa (played by Manchu Vishnu), is an atheist and turns into a devotee of the Lord Shiva.

Star-studded movie

The actor shared the English, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada posters on his X account.

Along with the poster, he confirmed the cameo roles of veteran Telugu star Mohan Babu, Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal, Rebel Star Prabhas, and Kannada Superstar Shiva Rajkumar.

The shooting of this big-budget film is currently underway at a brisk pace in New Zealand.

Sharing the posters, he wrote, “Step into the world of Kannappa where the journey of an atheist Warrior to becoming Lord Shiva’s ultimate devotee comes to life (sic).”
