Veteran Malayalam actor Mammootty is all set to appear as a police cop in his upcoming movie Kannur Squad.
In the film, Mammootty plays the role of George Martin, an assistant sub-inspector who embarks on a journey searching for a criminal gang.
A cop thriller directed by debutant Roby Varghese Raj, it managed to create a buzz among movie buffs after its trailer release.
The trailer gives some intense moments to the fans and audiences.
Interestingly, in the 2019-released Unda (Bullet), Mammootty delivered a subtle performance as sub-inspector Manigandan who travels to Chhattisgarh with a team of police to oversee security during the elections.
