The makers of Suresh Gopi’s 250th movie, tentatively titled SG250, have issued a casting call for actors. The upcoming project is expected to be set in central Kerala and produced with a big budget.
The makers of SG250 took to social media to issue a casting call for actors. Sree Gokulam Movies is bankrolling this anticipated film.
Meanwhile, the details about the cast and crew, including the director, are yet to be revealed. This is the first film he signed after taking charge as Union minister.
While announcing this venture, the actor-politician said SG250 would have a pan-universe appeal and would be produced by Gokulam Gopalan with a massive budget of ₹70 crore.
Suresh Gopi also stated that he would soon work on Ottakomban, which was announced some years ago. Interestingly, the actor is making public appearances with the Ottakomban look.
His next release is Varaaham, directed by Sanal V Devan. A second-look poster of the film was unveiled recently. It featured Suresh Gopi, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and director Gautham Vasudev Menon.
The veteran actor is also part of Mammootty’s forthcoming flick to be directed by Mahesh Narayanan. It will also feature Fahadh Faasil and Kunchako Boban in the main roles. The shooting will commence in 2025.
Though busy with his political commitments, Suresh Gopi has a lineup of films. His forthcoming film LK is a sequel to Chintamani Kola Case (2006). His powerful performance as advocate Lal Krishna Viradiyaar helped the movie become a super hit.
Meanwhile, JSK (Janaki vs State of Kerala) is directed by Pravin Narayanan and is touted to be a legal thriller. Suresh Gopi will appear as an advocate in it.
Expectations are running high for this venture after the makers released a poster recently. It will have Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead.
Suresh Gopi also has plans to do films with director Shaji Kailas. The actor was last seen in the Arun Varma directorial Garudan (2023), written by Midhun Manuel Thomas.
