'Bharathanatyam', initially scheduled to release on 23 August, was postponed a week and is now finally releasing on 30 August.

The makers of Saiju Kurup’s Bharathanatyam released a new teaser on Wednesday, 28 August, two days ahead of the release date— 30 August.
The 52-second teaser gave a glimpse into the film, which is anticipated to be a fun entertainer.
Sharing the teaser, Saiju Kurup wrote on his social media, “Here’s the release teaser of Bharathanatyam directed by Krishnadas Murali, under the banner of Thomas Thiruvalla Films and Saiju Kurup Entertainments. Music composed by Samuel Aby.”
The movie, initially scheduled to release on 23 August, was postponed a week and is now finally releasing on 30 August.
The first look poster, released in July, featured Saiju Kurp and Saikumar looking up while everyone else in the poster looked straight.
Sharing the poster earlier on social media, Saiju Kurup thanked the audience for helping him fulfil his long-standing desire to produce a movie. “My dream came to fruition due to the incredible amount of love and encouragement he received from the audience in the past 19 years of his journey in the industry,” he wrote.
Bharathanatyam also marks the directorial debut of Krishnadas Murali, who also wrote its script. The film features, Kalaranjini, Sreeja Ravi, Swathi Das Prabhu, and Nandu Poduval in pivotal roles.
The movie has cinematography by Bablu Aju and music by Samuel Aby. Shadeeque VB is the editor.
Meanwhile, Saiju Kurup’s next, Porattu Nadakam, was scheduled to hit the theatres on 9 August. However, it was postponed due to the Wayanad landslides. The makers are yet to announce the new release date.
The actor’s latest film, Nunakuzhi, is a super hit. It featured Basil Joseph in the lead role and was helmed by Jeethu Joseph.
Saiju Kurup’s upcoming slate includes Abhilasham, and Written and Directed by God.
He is also making his digital debut with the SonyLIV web series Jai Mahendran. The web show is touted to be a political drama presented in a light-hearted tone.
