Saiju Kurup’s recent release Bharathanatyam is all set to make its OTT debut on Friday, 27 September.
The movie will stream on ManoramaMax and Amazon Prime Video simultaneously.
The film produced by Saiju Kurup had a good run in theatres when it was released on 30 August.
Sharing the poster earlier on social media, Saiju Kurup thanked the audience for helping him fulfill his long-standing desire to produce a movie.
“My dream came to fruition due to the incredible amount of love and encouragement he received from the audience in the past 19 years of his journey in the industry,” he wrote.
Bharathanatyam is a feel-good entertainer featuring strong performances from the lead actors. The movie also marks the directorial debut of Krishnadas Murali.
The movie features Kalaranjini, Sreeja Ravi, Swathi Das Prabhu, and Nandu Poduval in major roles.
Bablu Aju cranked the camera while Samuel Aby scored the music. The editor of the movie is Shadeeque VB.

Saiju Kurup, the actor and producer shared the post on his Facebook, announcing that the movie will also stream on Prime Video.
The movie has a theme similar to Mohanlal’s Balettan (2003), but the humour elements in the Bharathanatyam gives a different experience. The movie can also be termed as a spoof of Balettan which revolved round the relationship between father and son.
In Balettan Mohanlal and Nedumudi Venu appeared as son and father, respectively. While, in Bharatanatyam, Saiju Kurup and Saikumar acted as son and father duo.
Meanwhile, Saiju Kurup’s upcoming films include Porattu Naadakam, Anand Sreebala, Abhilasham, as well as Written and Directed by God.
Apart from this, the actor is also making his digital debut on OTT with SonyLIV’s upcoming web series Jai Mahendran. The web show is touted to be a political drama presented in a light-hearted tone.
