Soubin Shahir and Basil Joseph starrer, Pravinkoodu Shappu, is all set to reach a wider audience through its OTT release.
The film is set to be available on SonyLiv from 11 April, in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

The film features a talented cast including Basil Joseph, Soubin Shahir, Chemban Vinod, and Chandni Sreedhar. Directed by Sreeraj Sreenivasan and produced by Anwar Rasheed, the movie boasts a captivating musical score by Vishnu Vijay and stunning cinematography by Shyju Khalid.
The film follows an investigation into the murder of Babu, a toddy shop owner, led by Officer Santosh CJ (Basil Joseph). As the probe unfolds, key characters like Kannan (Soubin Shahir) and his wife Merinda (Chandni Sreedhar) are involved, revealing hidden pasts and rivalries. With intriguing twists and strong performances, debut director Sreeraj Sreenivasan crafted a compelling narrative.
The movie featured powerful performances from its lead actors. Basil Joseph shines as Santosh, a quirky policeman, with his unique body language adding depth to the role.
Soubin Shahir delivers an impressive performance as Kannan, a character with secrets, whose relationship with his wife, Merinda, adds emotional weight to the story.
