OTT: When and where to watch Asif Ali's 'Adios Amigo'

Asif Ali and Suraj Venjaramoodu’s hilarious combination in Adios Amigo helped the film win a positive response upon its theatrical release. The Malayalam movie raised expectations among cinephiles the duo worked together for the first time.

Now, after its successful theatrical run, Adios Amigo is set for its OTT premiere on Netflix on 6 September. It will be available in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada languages.

Adios Amigo features strong performances by the lead actors—Asif Ali and Suraj Venjaramoodu. Their on-screen chemistry offered a visual feast to fans and film enthusiasts.

The film is a feel-good entertainer that beautifully explores the theme of friendship. The makers of Adios Amigo are confident that their project will regale the OTT audiences and trend on Netflix.

During the promotions, both actors promised that the film would be a fun-packed entertainer. And they delivered their promise.

Adios Amigo marked the debut of director Nahaz Nazar. It boasted an engaging script written by Thankam and was produced by Ashiq Usman.

Further, the film featured cinematography by Jimshi Khalid and editing by Nishadh Yusuf. Gopi Sunder’s soulful music and background score were another major highlight.

In an interview with South First, director Nahaz Nazar mentioned that Asif Ali was a perfect fit for the role and he cooperated with the team in all aspects of filmmaking. He also noted that both he and scriptwriter Ashiq Usman knew Asif Ali quite well, which helped him make the movie easily.

Adios Amigo also features Shine Tom Chacko, Ganapathi, Althaf Salim, Jinu Joseph, Salim Hassan, Anagha, Muthumani, and Riaa Saira in key roles.

Meanwhile, Asif Ali’s previous films Thalavan and Level Cross did well in theatres. The actor is currently shooting for Abhyanthara Kuttavali. He also has a good lineup of films in his kitty, including Thalavan 2 alongside Biju Menon, Rekhachitram with Jofin T Chacko, and Thamar KV’s new movie.

His Kishkindha Kaandam will hit the screens worldwide for Onam.

On the other hand, Suraj Venjaramoodu is currently working on Padakkalam with Sharaf U Dheen. He recently wrapped up the shooting of ED-Extra Decent under the direction of Aamir Pallikkal. The movie marks the maiden production venture of the actor.

Suraj Venjaramoodu is also part of Prem Shankar’s Thekku Vadakku, Nissam Basheer’s untitled movie, and his Tamil debut—Vikram’s Veera Dheera Sooran Part 2.
