Actors Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara’s upcoming film — Dear Students has wrapped up its shooting. Directed by George Philip Roy and Sandeep Kumar, the film is expected to be a romantic comedy.
The makers announced the completion of the shoot recently with the behind-the-scenes footage of the making.
The makers wrote on Instagram: “That’s a wrap on Dear Students! Huge thanks to our cast, crew, and everyone. Stay tuned for what’s next! #DearStudentsMovie.”

The film is being produced by Nivin under his banner Pauly Jr Pictures. Shinoz Shamsudheen of Footage fame is handling the cinematography, while Lal Krishna is heading the editing. Composers Justin Varghese and Christy Joby are also part of the project.
Apart from this project, the actor also has one Tamil film and one web series in the pipeline. Nivin Pauly and Tamil director Ram have come together for their upcoming film Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai. The film premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) and has already garnered appreciation from the international audience.
Nivin Pauly, Anjali, and Soori play the lead roles in the movie. Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. NK Ekhambram is the cinematographer. Suresh Kamatchi produced it under the banner of V House Productions. Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai is touted to be a psychological romantic thriller.
Nivin Pauly is also set to make his OTT debut with the web series Pharma. The series will soon premiere on Jio Hotstar. Pharma follows the struggle of a middle-class boy who joins the pharmaceutical industry as a medical representative in his 20s.
Meanwhile, Nayanthara’s upcoming films include Senthil Nallasamy’s Rakkayie, S Sashikanth’s Test, and the sequel to Mookuthi Amman.
