‘Marco’ director Haneef Adeni to collaborate with Dil Raju Productions

Malayalam director Haneef Adeni, who was in the limelight after scoring a hit with Marco, is now joining hands with Telugu production house Dil Raju Productions. This comes after he signed a project with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

Sharing the news, the production house wrote on X: “WARNING. MAYHEM AND CHAOS ARE SET TO ENGULF THE FORTS Haneef Adeni is bringing his signature mark to Indian Cinema with Dil Raju Productions. A New Wave of Storytelling awaits. More details soon…”

Although details about the film’s genre and cast are yet to be revealed, according to Cinema Express, it is said to be a multi-starrer, featuring a prominent actor from both Malayalam and Telugu cinema in the lead role.

Marco

Marco, a spin-off of Mikhael (2019), both directed by Haneef Adeni, also featured Unni Mukundan as an antagonist, as he did alongside Nivin Pauly in the original film.

The ensemble cast of Marco includes Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul, Arjun Nandakumar, Durva Thaker, Yukti Tareja, Abhimanyu Shammy Thilakan, Ishan Shoukath, Siddique, Jagadish and Riyaz Khan, among others.

Chandru Selvaraj handles the cinematography for Marco, with Shameer Muhammed as the editor. KGF-fame Ravi Basrur composes the music.

Marco is produced by Shareef Muhammed and Abdul Gadhaf of Cubes Entertainments, in collaboration with Unni Mukundan Films, the lead actor’s home production company.
