Basil Joseph’s las film Marana Mass after completing it’s theatrical run, is all set to reach a wider audience through OTT platforms.
The film which opened to positive responses is now gearing to stream on Sony Liv from 15 May, in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
Sharing the news, the OTT platform wrote on X: ” Not your usual headline. Not your usual movie. Welcome to the world of Maranamass. Watch #Maranamass on SonyLIV from 15th May.”

The tagline of Marana Mass read, “Not a Mass Padam”. It was co-written by director Sivaprasad and Romancham (2023)-fame Siju Sunny. Siju also played a key role in the film.
Further, the movie featured Rajesh Madhavan and Suresh Krishna in important roles. It was produced under Tovino Thomas’s Tovino Thomas Productions in collaboration with Tingston’s Thanzeer Salam for World Wide Films.
The music was composed by Jay Unnithan and the cinematography was handled by Neeraj Revi. RDX (2023)-fame Chaman Chacko is the editor.
Meanwhile, Basil Joseph has recently joined the sets of Sudha Kongara’s Parasakthi, which will mark his Tamil debut. The film stars Sivakarthikeyan, Jayam Ravi, Atharvaa Murali, and Sreeleela in lead roles.
Basil Joseph has emerged as a bankable star with a slew of hits. The actor delivered hits like Ponman, Sookshmadarshini, Nunakuzhi, and Guruvayoor Amabala Nadayil in 2024.
The Marana Mass trailer opened with news reports about a serial killer dubbed more terrifying than Ripper Chandran.
Meanwhile, Basil Joseph, portraying a rebellious troublemaker, donning coloured hair, added humour and emotion to the trailer, even advertising a local police station for sale on OLX.
