'Bazooka' to release on 14 February. (X)
Mammootty’s next big-budget film Bazooka has locked its release date. Written and directed by Deeno Dennis, touted to be a thriller, the film is set to release on Valentine’s Day, 14 February.
Deeno Dennis is the son of veteran writer Kaloor Dennis. The film also stars Tamil filmmaker Gautam Vasudev Menon in the role of a police officer.
Apart from Mammootty and Gautham Menon, it stars Sidharth Bharthan, Shine Tom Chacko, VK Prakash, Vasisht Umesh, and Bhama Arun.
Sharing the news, the production house wrote on X: “The Game Is ON!! Bazooka releasing in cinemas, 14th February 2025!”

Dolwin Kuriakose and Jinu V Abraham are backing it under the banner of Theatre of Dreams in association with Vikram Mehra and Siddharth Anand Kumar for Yoodlee Films.
The Deeno Dennis directorial has cinematography by Nimish Ravi, music by Midhun Mukundan, and editing by Nishad Yusuf. The big-budget movie was shot in 90 days.
Mammootty’s previous movie Turbo (2023) directed by Vysakh and scripted by Midhun Manuel Thomas was a superhit.
Mammootty’s other venture, Dominic and The Lady’s Purse is also ready and set for release on 23 January. The film also marks the debut of Gautam Vasudev Menon in the Malayalam film industry.
Dominic and The Lady’s Purse is billed as an investigative thriller. The cast includes Gokul Suresh, Lena, and Viji Venkatesh, known for her performance in Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum (2023).
The first-look poster, which was revealed on Mammootty’s birthday, featured the actor in a room set up for an investigation, with a cat seen in the background, possibly hinting at it being the protagonist’s pet.
While it’s unclear if Mammootty will be investigating his case or will play the role of Dominic, the first-look poster has already sparked curiosity among fans.
