Apart from this, Jeethu Joseph also has Mirage, with Aparna Balamurali, and Asif Ali, which is set to release late this year.
The director, known for the Drishyam franchise, is collaborating with Mohanlal for the third part.
The first part Drishyam 1, released in 2013 revolved around Georgekutty (Mohanlal) and his family, who come under suspicion when Varun Prabhakar, the son of the IG Geetha Prabhakar, goes missing.
The second part was made after almost a decade, in 2021, which was also a huge hit. The franchise was remade in various Indian languages, including Hindi and Telugu.
With the franchise’s success, the next part— Drishyam 3 has become the most anticipated project. In February 2025, the makers officially announced the third part, with the caption, “The past never stays silent. Drishyam 3 confirmed!”
