What happens when a man jumps into a lion’s den? Well, it is usually a dangerous situation. However, in the upcoming Malayalam movie Grr, it seems things are different.
The teaser of Grr, unveiled on Saturday, 4 May, featured Kunchako Boban’s character jumping into the den of a lion named Darshan at the zoo in Trivandrum.
On noticing this, Suraj Venjaramoodu’s character warns him: “It’s a lion’s den, not a bird’s nest!”
The hilarious teaser hinted that Grr will be a laugh ride. The film is helmed by director Jay K, who debuted with the horror movie Ezra (2017), a box office success.
The film is scripted by Jay K and Praveen S.
Director Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval is the production designer.

Suraj and Kunchako earlier worked together in films like Pullipulikalum Aatinkuttiyum (2013) and Varnyathil Aashanka (2017) — both comedy entertainers.
As a result, Grr is drawing huge expectations from the audience.
Shaji Nadesan and Arya are producing the film under the banners of August Cinemas, along with Cineholix.
Grr has cinematography by Jayesh Nair and edited by Vivek Harshan.
Dawn Vincent, Kailas Menon, and Tony Tars composed the music and background score. Manu Manjith is the lyricist.
