Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil trailer out

The upcoming Malayalam movie Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil has Prithviraj Sukumaran and Basil Joseph teaming up for the first time.

The much-anticipated film is directed by Vipin Das.

Vipin’s previous release, Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey (2022)—headlined by Basil Joseph and Darshana Rajendran in the lead, created a sensation in theatres and the OTT space.

As a result, movie buffs are eagerly looking forward to the release of Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil on 16 May.

Trailer launched

On Friday night, 10 May, the makers of Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil launched the trailer in Dubai.

At the event, Prithviraj Sukumaran disclosed that he was a big fan of Vipin Das’ Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey and that he thoroughly enjoyed working on Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil.

Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil doesn’t have a socially relevant story. It revolves around a wedding in a family. Basil plays my co-brother. Some incidents happen during the wedding following which a misunderstanding occurs between us co-brothers. This forms the major highlight of the movie. What happens next is worth watching in theatres,” the actor said.

The trailer hints that Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil is a complete entertainer with Prithviraj Sukumaran and Basil Joseph in full form.

The movie also casts Nikhila Vimal and Baiju Santhosh in key roles.

Tamil actor Yogi Babu is debuting in Malayalam with the project.

Earlier, the makers released an impressive teaser that showcased some hilarious moments between Prithviraj and Basil Joseph.

Produced by E4 Entertainment and Prithviraj Productions, Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil also stars Anaswara Rajan, Nikhila Vimal, Yogi Babu, Jagadish, and Rekha Harris.
