JSK first look out

The makers of JSK (Janaki vs State of Kerala), headlined by Suresh Gopi, released the first-look poster of the film on Thursday, 6 June.

The movie, directed by Pravin Narayanan, is touted to be a legal thriller. In the film, Suresh Gopi plays the role of an advocate.

The first look poster of JSK features a silhouetted Suresh Gopi in a courtroom.

It also has the caption, “I know what I’m doing and I will continue doing the same,” prominently mentioned in capital letters.

The movie stars Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead.

JSK comes with the tagline: “Truth shall always prevail.”

Director Pravin Narayanan wrote the story and script, too. The movie is produced by J Phanindra Kumar and Raaffi Mathirra.

Suresh Gopi delivered a powerful performance as advocate Lal Krishna Viradiyaar in Shaji Kailas’s crime thriller Chinthamani Kolacase (2006), a super hit.

As a result, expectations are running high on JSK.

The Malayalam actor recently scored a hit with director Arun Varma’s Garudan (2023). It was written by Midhun Manuel Thomas and produced by Listin Stephen.

Garudan was a legal thriller and featured Biju Menon as the antagonist. The film is also doing well in the OTT space.

An impressive lineup of films

Suresh Gopi is making headlines following his significant victory in Kerala’s Thrissur constituency in the recently held Lsok Sabha Polls.

In an interview with Asianet News on Wednesday, 5 June, the actor-politician revealed that he will next share the screen with Mammootty in director Mahesh Narayanan’s film.

The yet-t0-be-titled flick is produced by Mammootty Kampany and also casts Fahadh Faasil and Kunchako Boban in the lead roles.

He is currently working on Varaaham, directed by Sanal V Devan.

His next includes LK, a sequel to Chintamani Kolacase.
