Fahadh Faasil and Kalyani Priyadarshan’s upcoming film Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira is all set to hit the big screens earlier than announced.

The film written and directed by Althaf Salim, which was supposed to release on 4 September, is now releasing a week earlier on 29 August.

Sharing the news, and the new poster, the makers wrote: “Love’s a blur. Especially with mangoes and binoculars. Unveiling the second look of ‘Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira’. Catch it in theatres on August 29th.”

Salim had debuted as a filmmaker in 2017 with Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela. Apart from Fahadh Faasil and Kalyani Priyadarshan, the film also stars Revathi Pillai, Vinay Forrt, Suresh Krishna, Lal and Anuraj OB, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Babu Antony, Johny Antony, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Vineeth Vasudevan, and Saafboi in supporting roles.

On the technical front, Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira has cinematographer Jinto George, editor Abhinav Sunder Nayak, production designer Ashwini Kale and music director Justin Varghese.

Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira is backed by Ashiq Usman under his namesake banner.

Earlier, on wrapping Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira, the producer thanked the cast and crew for “140 long days, late nights, laughter, tears ,chaos and magic.”

He had further wrote: “140 days of pouring our time, energy, and emotions into something we all believed in. What a journey it’s been. This shoot wasn’t just long , it was a roller coaster in every sense. Through chaos and calm, exhaustion and excitement, we kept going together. Every shoot has its moments, but this one will stay in my heart forever. There were days when it felt impossible, when the finish line seemed out of reach. But somehow, through all the challenges, the delays, the pressure we kept moving.”

Meanwhile, Fahadh Faasil will be seen in the Tamil film Maareesan, directed by Sudheesh Sankar, alongside Vadivelu.
