Divya Prabha joins Thamar KV's next. (X)
Malayalam actor Divya Prabha, who is basking in the success of All We Imagine As Light has now joined Thamar KV’s next project tentatively titled, Production No 8.
The makers also shared that the official switch-on ceremony and launch of the film took place in Fujairah, UAE, on Wednesday, 27 November.
The film also stars Asif Ali, whose last film Kishkindha Kaandam was a huge success, with audience and critics praising the mystery thriller. Deepak Parambol and Orhan are also part of the film. It is being produced by Ajith Vinayaka Films.
Sources said Thamar KV’s movie will be a feel-good entertainer. However, more details about the venture are awaited.
Sharing the details, the Instagram post of the makers said, “Join us for the Switch On Ceremony. The Journey Begins Here. Production No 8. Asif Ali, Divya Prabha, Deepak Parambol, and Orhan. Ajith Vinayaka Films Presents. A film by Thamar.”
Later in the day, the director shared an image of the first clap for the film.

Thamar, who had worked in the advertising industry in Dubai for over a decade, made a mark in the Malayalam industry with his debut directorial Aayirathonnu Nunakal (1001 Lies). It was released directly on SonyLIV in 2023.
Besides winning critical appreciation for its storyline, writing, filmmaking, and performances, the film won the hearts of the OTT audience, too.
Before its OTT debut, the movie was screened at the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) in December 2022, where it won accolades.
In an interview with South First, the filmmaker said, “The (1001 Lies) team initially feared that the audience at the IFFK might think it to be a copy of 12th Man (Mohanlal’s 2022 release with a similar story). But we were elated with the response.”
