After winning the Best Actor Award at the 54th Kerala State Film Awards 2024, Prithviraj Sukumaran has revealed that he is happy to bag the honour for his role in Aadujeevitham (The Goat Life). This is his third award.
The actor dedicated the award to everyone who worked on the most ambitious project. “The award belongs to everyone who was part of Aadujeevitham. Everyone deserves this recognition, whether it’s the technical team, the cameraman, the makeup artist, or the production designer.”
Prithviraj Sukumaran stated that after the award news, he remembered the real-life Najeeb, writer Benyamin, and director Blessy.
The actor said he never yearned for awards but felt good when they came his way. “Awards are always given away based on the feedback of the jury who watches the films. It’s natural to have different opinions.”
He added, “I am thrilled, not just because I received the recognition for Best Actor but also because the film itself has garnered so much recognition. This was the most challenging film and character in my career.”

Aadujeevitham won big at the Kerala State Film Awards 2024, by clinching as many as nine awards in different categories. Blessy won the Best Director and the Best Screenplay (adapted) awards.
The Malayalam actor said Blessy must get the most credit for the film’s recognition. “He dedicated 16 years to bringing this movie to life. The award I received as an actor is additional to what Blessy has achieved.”
Prithviraj Sukumaran also congratulated the winners of the Kerala State Film Awards 2024, saying they all deserved the honour.
