'Ennu Swantham Punyalan' to release in January. (X)
Arjun Ashokan, who was last seen in Bramayugam (2024) is gearing up for his next release Ennu Swantham Punyalan. The fantasy comedy entertainer, directed by Mahesh Madhu and scripted by Samji M Antony, stars Balu Varghese and Anaswara Rajan.
The makers on Monday, 2 December, announced that the film will be released early next year, in January 2025. The crew also announced that the Malayalam film will be released in Tamil too, simultaneously.
A new poster was also launched by the makers showing Arjun Ashokan and Anaswara Rajan in quirky looks. The movie is produced by Ligo John under the banner of Truth Seekers and distributed by Magic Frames.
Mahesh Madhu has done ad films and short films and has an experience of 12 years in the entertainment industry. Ennu Swantham Punyalan also features Althaf Salim, Vineeth Vishwam, Indrans, Renji Panicker, and Baiju Santhosh.
Ennu Swantham Punyalan has Renadive as the film’s cinematographer, while Gopi Sunder and Sobin Soman have been signed as the composer and editor.
On the work front, Arjun Ashokan had an impressive performance this year. His role in Mammootty’s Bramayugam is one of his career-best performances. The actor also had a key role in Ozler (2024) which had Jayaram and Mammootty in major roles. He also played the role of a cop in Once Upon a Time in Kochi (2024 )directed by Nadirshah.
