Actor Antony Varghese is all set to reunite with the RDX director Nahas Hidayath for his upcoming film I’m Game.
On Thursday, 1 May, the makers of the film, took to Instagram, to announce that Antony Varghese has joined the film. He is set to play a key role in the film.
This film is also set to mark the return of Dulquer Salmaan into Malayalam cinema after a hiatus of more than an year, after King of Kotha (2023)
Nahas Hidayath’s last directorial RDX was a huge hit and, in fact, clashed with Dulquer’s King of Kotha.
I’M Game’s screenplay is crafted by Sajeer Baba, Bilal Moidu, and Ismail Aboobacker, while Jakes Bejoy has been roped in to compose the music.
Varghese shared the poster and wrote on social media, “Game on! Ready to play! Excited to be on board for #IMGame. Buckle up, it’s going to be a wild ride!”
Directed by Nahas Hidhayath, RDX, starring Antony Varghese, Shane Nigam, and Neeraj Madhav in lead roles, is an action film scripted by Adarsh Sukumaran and Shabas Rasheed. The core idea of the movie is revenge and it tells the story of three skilled martial artists. They had parted ways at one point in their life, but they reunited again to fight a common enemy. Babu Antony, Lal, Vishnu Agasthya, Mahima Nambiar and Aima Rosy Sebastian also play main roles in the film.
Dulquer was last seen in Lucky Bhaskar, while promoting the same, the actor said that he would make a comeback to Malayalam cinema. He also announced that he would collaborate with Nahas Hidayath and Soubin Shahir.
Directed by Venky Atluri and starring Dulquer Salmaan, the movie was received well with its engaging storyline and impressive cast. Meenakshi Chaudhary stars alongside Dulquer Salmaan, with music by GV Prakash Kumar.
While there has been criticism against the actor for not doing enough work in Malayalam, Dulquer Salmaan said that he is not intentionally staying away from the Malayalam film industry.
