Actor Vinayakan has found himself at the centre of yet another controversy after a video allegedly showing him engaging in inappropriate behaviour surfaced online on Monday, 20 January.
The footage, which has sparked widespread criticism on social media, reportedly depicts the actor standing on a flat’s balcony, using abusive language, and removing his traditional attire (mundu).
In the video, the man—believed to be Vinayakan—is seen shouting expletives at a neighbouring building before collapsing onto the balcony floor, continuing his tirade while lying down.
The video has prompted a flood of comments on the actor’s recent Facebook posts, with many users referencing the incident.
Notably, Vinayakan himself shared screenshots of some of these posts on his official page. This isn’t the first time the actor has courted controversy.
Earlier, he made headlines for allegedly creating a scene at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, where he was reportedly detained for inappropriate behaviour with staff and sitting on the floor in protest.
He was also embroiled in a police case following a domestic dispute with his wife, during which he created a commotion at the Ernakulam North police station, reportedly under the influence of alcohol.
Vinayakan who drew appreciation for his roles in the film like Kammatipaadam and Thottappan also acted alongside Rajinikanth in the hit film Jailer as a villain.
