Malayalam actress Divya Prabha filed a complaint with the Kerala police alleging that she was harassed by a co-passenger on an Air India Flight on 10 October. She was travelling from Mumbai to Kochi.
Sharing her terrible experience on her Instagram handle, Divya Prabha said the fellow passenger was “intoxicated and disruptive”.
Though she reported the incident to the air hostess, the cabin crew of Air India relocated her to another seat before the takeoff. Upon arriving at Kochi airport, she reported the issue to airport and airline authorities, who redirected her to the police aid post in the airport, the Ariyippu actor added.
Divya Prabha’s Instagram post read: “The incident involved a passenger seated in 12 C, under the influence of alcohol, switched his seat to 12 B with me (12 A) and initiated an argument with no logic, regarding the seat’s location (window or aisle), the individual misbehaving, including inappropriate physical contact”.
The Malayalam actor said she filed an FIR and the investigation is ongoing. Further details will be available after a thorough examination by the police.
