“Oh My Baby”, the full lyrical song from Mahesh Babu’s highly-anticipated movie Guntur Kaaram was dropped by the makers on Wednesday, 13 December.
With a plain melodious tune, the second single from the film received criticism from Mahesh fans for its poor intensity.
The fans complained that the soundtrack does not have “dum” when compared to the first single “Dum Biryani”.
Directed by Trivikram Srinivasan, Guntur Kaaram features Sreeleela and Meenaakshi Chaudhary as the leading ladies.
As per reports, the makers commenced the shooting for the next song at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.
A melody, “Oh My Baby” was composed by the music maestro Thaman S and sung by Shilpa Rao. The lyrics were penned by Ramajogayya Sastry.
The song begins with Sreeleela, in a dark green saree, introducing herself as Ammu. Mahesh Babu, dressed in a dark blue denim shirt, introduces himself as Ramana by saying, “Remember it. It might be useful if you ever visit Guntur.”
In response, Sreeleela gives a gesture and walks away.

The makers of Guntur Kaaram recently released the first single of the film.
The song “Dum Masala” went viral within days of its release. The energetic track has been composed by S Thaman.
The vocals have been given by Thaman and Sanjith Hegde.
Ramajogayya Sastry wrote the lyrics of the song, while director Trivikram Srinivas added a spicy rap verse to the track.
Guntur Kaaram is scheduled to hit the screens on 12 January 2024, coinciding with the Sankranthi festivities.
In addition to Mahesh Babu, Sreeleela, and Meenakshi Chaudhary, the movie also stars Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishna, Jayaram, and Prakash Raj in prominent roles.
It is produced by S Radha Krishna under the banner of Haarika and Hassine Creations.
