Despite the negative talk from audiences, Superstar Mahesh Babu’s latest box office release Guntur Kaaram has been doing exceptionally good business since its release on 12 January.
The theatrical business for the film reached ₹130.4 crore in just three days after the film’s release. The film secured a share of ₹73.4 crore. However, a remaining share of ₹57.6 crore is needed to break even.
Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu’s film Guntur Kaaram was released amidst massive expectations from fans following his successful association with Trivikram Srinivas — Athadu (2005) and Khaleja (2010) — in the past.
Produced by Suryadevara Radhakrishna under the Haarika and Haasini Creations banner, the movie features Sreeleela as the leading lady, with Meenakshi Chaudhary in a special role. S Thaman scored the music.
