Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj (1630–1680) was a prominent and legendary warrior king and founder of the Maratha Empire in western India. He is celebrated for his military genius, progressive administration, and relentless struggle against the Mughal Empire, which dominated much of India during his time.
Sandeep Singh is known for producing films like Aligarh (2016), Sarbjit (2016), Bhoomi (2017), the biographical film PM Narendra Modi (2019), Jhund (2022), and the recent Main Atal Hoon and Swatantrya Veer Savarkar in 2024.
Rishab Shetty has risen to fame with his last success Kantara (2022), for which he won the National award for Best Actor Male.
The actor now has Kantara- A Legend Chapter 1 — a prequel to the 2022 film in the pipeline.
Produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films, Kantara- A Legend Chapter 1 is being made on a grander scale.
Rishab Shetty will also be seen in Prasanth Varma’s Jai Hanuman as lord Hanuman. Jai Hanuman is the next part of the PVCU after the humongous hit Hanu-Man.
With roping in Rishab Shetty for the Hanuman’s role, the makers are trying to woo both the Telugu and Kannada audiences.
